En guise de présentation.

Il est de bon ton maintenant  pour chacun d’avoir son blog, alors je me jette à l’eau.

Depuis toujours, j’ai été passionné par le tir, mais surtout par les mécanismes des armes, et plus encore ceux des armes longues,    a verrou, a répétition, semi-auto (et même autos !!). Je pense que cette passion a commencé avec les nombreux matériels laissés ici (et là) a la fin des combats .

Ma vie déjà longue a été une successions d’aventures humaines et professionnelles enrichissantes, dont 10 années en Afrique Centrale ou j’ai pratiqué pendant 8 ans la grande chasse et gagné un surnom a moi donné par mes pisteurs africains et dont je suis encore fier….

En 1973,envoyé en mission en Grande-Bretagne, j’ai découvert Bisley et le Long Range, et ce fut un éblouissement. J’ai tiré tous les Imperial Meetings de 1973 à 1996, date a laquelle la perte de vision m’a relégué, et ai continué d’y être présent chaque année, totalisant a ce jour 42 présences . J’ai bien tiré et même gagné des compétitions , mal tiré dans bien d’autres, captainé l’équipe Palma Européenne de Raton-1992, visité et tiré a Raton, Phoenix et Camp Perry (USA), Trentham(NZ), Brisbane et Perth (AUS), Ottawa (CDN), Bloemfontein (RSA),et enfin Jersey…. Le Long Range m’a tout apporté , y compris les honneurs dont je suis fier, mais peut  être immérités. .. Je n’oublierai pas les nombreuses et grandes amitiés créées a l’occasion de ces manifestations..

Dès 1983, je pensais mettre en pratique mes connaissances en matière de mécanismes et dessinai ma première C .G .

En 1989 je participais a l’étude de la Paramount. En 1994, la nouvelle société RPA, née des cendres de Swing et de Paramount, me demanda les droits de la C.G2000-RPA, et me confia la conception de ce qui devint la Quadlock.  La détente de ces actions a évolué vers la détente C .G modèle 22 adaptée a de nombreux types de mécanismes et qui vient d’être adoptée pour le  MSR de Remington, qui vient d’être choisie pour équiper  les forces spéciales US (PSR Rifle contract).

1996 vit la Millenium et 2004 l’INCH, en 2012 les Delta 59 et 66 . Et d’autres modèles maintenant en en devenir, une INCH SA a répétition et une INCH Magnum, aussi à répétition.

Entretemps, je conçus pour la Millenium un système de visée, hausse et guidon maintenant fabriqués par Centra Visiertechnik et X-Treme Shooting Products.

Je ne parlerai ici que de mécanismes et de technique, domaines dans lesquels je me crois quelque compétence .

It is now customary to have own’s blog, therefore, lets go for me…

Since always, I have been Inpassionated with shooting, but even more by the firearms mechanisms, still those of the bolt rifles, single shots, repeaters, sellf-loading (and even full autos!!). I think this passion started with the numerous materials left behind here (and there) at the end of the battle!.

My life already long now has been a succession of  human and professional ventures experiences, of which 10 years in central Africa where I practised for 8 years the big game hunting and won a native patronym given by my trackers and of which  !i am still proud of!.

In 1973, sent for a mission in Great Britain, I discovered Bisley and the Long Range, and this was a marvel of amazement. I shot all the Imperial Meetings from 1973 till 1996, when the sudden loss of vision relegated me, and I continued to be present each year, totalizing 42 attendances to date. I have had some shooting successes, won competitions, shot poorly in others, captained an European Team to the Raton 1992 Palma. Visited and shot at Raton, Phoenix and Camp Perry (USA), Trentham (NZ), Ottawa (CDN) Brisbane and Perth (AUS), Bloemfontein (RSA) and finally Jersey.

The Long Range brought me a lot, including the honours of which I am so proud, but prehaps not deserved….I will never forget the numerous and great friendships created on those occasions.

As early as 1983, I was thinking to put in practice my knowledge in matter of mechanisms and designed my first C.G.

In 1988, I participated to the study of the Paramount. In 1994, the new company RPA, born from the Swing and Paramount ashes, asked me the rights of the C.G-RPA 2000 and contracted me for the conception of the model to become the Quadlock. The C.G trigger of those models evolved to become the model C.G 22, adapted to numerous models of actions and who is now adopted for the Remington MSR, recently winning the PSR rifle contract for US special forces..

1996 saw the Millenium,  2004 the INCH and 2012 the Delta 59 and 66. And other models close to become reality, an INCH SA repeater and an INCH Magnum, also repeater.

Meanwhile, I designed for the Millenium a sights system, rear and front, now manufactured by Centra Visiertechnnik and X-Treme Shooting Products.

I will only speak here of mechanisms and technics, domains in which I think I have some competence.
