SHE IS FINALLY ‘ON THE SHELF’.

After numerous months of development and administrative formalities for the US patenting, I received some months ago one of the first Geissele Super 700 trigger and I was then able to evaluate it on my Remington test action and compare with several triggers of my collection, mainly its inspirer, the C.G model 22.

The C.G trigger range started with the model 19 to equip the C.G Millenium and Quadlock actions, in slightly differents versions.

It was followed by the model 21 initially conceived to adapt to many brands of actions. Initially designed for single shot, it showed some fitting issues on repeaters. This led to the C.G model 22 who, although better adapted, necessitated sometimes e stock inletting work.

Thee C.G model 22 showed production quality problems who led me to end the manufacturing and marketing agreement to the then manufacturer.

From the start , after the success of the Gaissele Super Mk13, adopted for the USSOCOM Mk13-7 sniper rifle, Bill Geissele decided the civilian version of  this trigger , the Geissele Super 700 was to have the exact shape of the OEM Remingtopn. This was marvelously achieved and makes the Super 700 the only 2-stage trigger performing this, with the added advantage of being indiferently single ot two-stage. The model was completely redesigned by Geissele, on the basis of the C.G mechanism but with several important improvements.

This showed not an easy task but the results are there : a true work of art with incredible improvements . It is important to notice the triple redundant safety bmocking independantly all the trigger levers.

Bill Geissele named it ‘The smile makes’ as all who tested it showed a large smile of appreciation. For me, it is ‘The best of the besst’..

In addition, the trigger is supplied with clear and well illustrated instructions.
